Switzerland and the Gulf are bonded by a love of watches. When we launched SWR in 2006 our aim was to complement this shared interest by providing a link between horology’s home and one of its most significant markets.

SWR brings Swiss knowledge and insight to the GCC. Our editorial aim is to provide a user-friendly window to the fascinating world of watchmaking. We do not shy away from technical reporting, but we always ensure that our articles are enjoyable to read and we report upon the lifestyles close to horology as well as the industry itself. As a Swiss national watchmaking is a passion for me and I hope that SWR encourages readers to share my love of this wonderful industry.
